The Somerset Lake community has a variety of committees that assist the Board in the day to day tasks of running a community of our size. All committees are made up of volunteer homeowners, each bringing their own experiences and backgrounds to the table. The committees each have a chairperson and a board liaison. They also develop their own budgets (approved by the Board), set their own meeting dates, and develop their own rules and procedures. Interested in volunteering? The committees are:
Architectural Committee ~ The Architectural Committee reviews, and approves or denies, homeowner requests for exterior projects. The Committee also makes recommendations to the Board when major projects containing new items or components are received (i.e. roofing shingles, solar panels).

Grounds Committee The Grounds Committee oversees the landscape maintenance of the community Open Space as well as the Parish Open Space. Do you have a green thumb? This is the committee for you!
Lake Committee The Lake Committee is just what it sounds -- all things Lake! There is some great science and minds behind the scenes and under the water of Somerset Lake, all in a working effort to improve the water quality and environment. Get your latest science lesson while learning about the community's most valuable asset - the Lake - all at the same time by attending their meetings!
Clubhouse Committee A committee responsible for all functions, rentals, repairs, and other activities hosted or organized by the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse manager holds the primary responsibility.
